Dear Friends and Colleagues,  

      Family Law is my life’s work. As an attorney for the last 18 years I have represented hundreds of families and served as a mediator in all nine of the Family Courts in Harris County.  When elected to serve as the 309^th Family District Judge I will draw on my education, knowledge, and experience as a Family Law Attorney to insure the success of this Court and preserve the law.   

      My commitment is to be a prepared, knowledgeable Judge, who competently and consistently follows the law after listening to the facts and circumstances presented in each case.  I will make sure that every person leaves with a sense that, regardless of the outcome, they were treated with kindness and respect during the process.  Being known as a Judge who uses discretion carefully and avoids injustice is important to me.  

      I am committed to upholding the Constitution.  I will use judicial constraint while ruling in a decisive and timely manner.  I will listen, rather than engage in unnecessary rhetoric, to allow more time for citizens and attorneys to present their cases.  I will avoid activism and special interests.  Instead, I will make decisions based on the law as well as the ever present priority of serving the best interests of children and families. 

      I stand by my reputation for hard work and dedication towards the families and children I have represented.  I will be a full time Judge committed to working hard as a public servant for you and our great county.  I will utilize my administrative experience gained over the past 17 years as a business owner of my own successful law firm to maintain a cost and time efficient Court.  My Court and staff will also be prepared and efficient in their jobs to avoid unnecessary delay and work for the attorneys and clients.
